1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MedQ ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Service Description
MedQ is an online question bank designed to help UCL MBBS Year 4 students practise for their exams. The Service provides original questions mapped to the UCL Year 4 curriculum blueprint, along with explanations, analytics and AI-driven practice features.
3. Accounts
To use MedQ you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
4. Payment
MedQ is available for £15 per year. Payment is a one-off charge granting 12 months of access from the date of purchase.
CC1 Acute Coronary Syndromes is available free of charge without an account, to allow prospective users to evaluate the Service before purchasing.
5. Intellectual Property
All questions, explanations, and other content on MedQ are original works created by the MedQ team. You may not reproduce, distribute, or share any MedQ content without prior written permission. Your use of the Service does not grant you any ownership rights in the content.
6. Disclaimer - Not Affiliated with UCL
MedQ is an independent resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by University College London (UCL) or UCL Medical School. Questions are based on publicly available curriculum information and are not sourced from past UCL examination papers.
7. Not Medical Advice
The content provided by MedQ is for educational and revision purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical guidance.
8. Limitation of Liability
MedQ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MedQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Your continued use of MedQ after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
