Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using uniMED-Q ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Service Description

uniMED-Q is an online question-bank service for medical students. It provides original questions mapped to the university, year and curriculum of each available bank, together with explanations, study tools and performance analytics.

3. Accounts

To use uniMED-Q you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Payment

Subscriptions. A subscription gives you access to all applicable live question banks for your university and is billed in advance at £4.99 per month or £24.99 per year. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings or the payment portal; your access then continues to the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again. As a goodwill policy, we offer a full refund if you request it within seven days of your first purchase; this is in addition to your statutory rights. After that, we do not refund the current billing period except where required by law or because of a billing error. If you purchased one-off access before subscriptions were introduced, your access continues on the terms you bought it under until its original end date.

A free sample of questions from your chosen question bank is available free of charge with a free account, to allow prospective users to evaluate the Service before purchasing. Where a free sample is offered, its content is set for each question bank and is shown in the app before you subscribe.

5. Intellectual Property

All questions, explanations, and other content on uniMED-Q are original works created by the uniMED-Q team. You may not reproduce, distribute, or share any uniMED-Q content without prior written permission. Your use of the Service does not grant you any ownership rights in the content.

6. Independent Educational Resource

uniMED-Q is an independent resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by UCL, UCL Medical School, or any other university. Questions are original educational content informed by relevant curriculum information and are not copied from university examination papers.

7. Not Medical Advice

The content provided by uniMED-Q is for educational and revision purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical guidance.

8. Limitation of Liability

uniMED-Q is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements. To the fullest extent permitted by law, uniMED-Q shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Your continued use of uniMED-Q after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
